Care
Keep the mix lightly damp, never wet. Tap water marks the leaf edges within a month, so rainwater or filtered.
Medium indirect light. The pattern washes out in bright sun and the leaves stop folding at night in the dark.

Delivery and returns
Inner Saigon: same-day delivery on orders placed before 3pm, $3, free over $50. Everywhere else: two to four days, each plant crated on its own.
A plant that wilts or dies in the first 30 days is replaced and you keep the pot. Send us photographs and we arrange the rest.
Calathea makaroyana is the one worth buying for the markings rather than the ease. It wants humidity and it will tell you when it is not getting any — the leaf edges brown first. A bathroom shelf suits it better than a living room.
